What is Balance Deficit? 

When used in conjunction with rehabilitative exercises, the PoNS™ device treats balance deficit due to mild-to-moderate traumatic brain injury. 

Up to 30-65% of people with a traumatic brain injury suffer from a lack of balance.  Balance deficit can be defined as a loss of balance and coordination, as well as increased difficulty walking. One cause of balance deficit is traumatic brain injury.
